WarHobby.com

New site launched WarHobby.com

Visiting the battlefields and the war museums of Europe stoked my interest in collecting these amazing machines of war. After years of researching and learning about these machines I have decided to launch an online site making them available for a low price as well as links to other WW2 replicas and RC vehicles.

You can visit the site by going to www.WarHobby.com

RAF Museum

The Royal Air Force Museum (RAF Museum) is a museum dedicated to the history of aviation, and the British Royal Air Force in particular. We decided to make our way out here before we headed to a BBQ at one of Melissa's friends places. It has to be one of the best museums I have ever visited, I would probably rate it even higher then the Imperial War museum.

Some of my favourte planes included the German dive bomber called the Stuka (the only one in Europe) and the Lancaster bomber.

Farnham

Farnham is a small town in Surrey, It is of historic interest, with many old buildings, including a number of Georgian houses. Farnham Castle overlooks the town. Farnham is only 50 minutes from London by train so it was the perfect country weekend getaway. We stayed at a really nice hotel that was a converted coach house. We went on a couple of long walks on the Heritage trail and saw heaps of wildlife and historic buildings including a 12th centry monastery and WW2 bunkers and tank traps. I would highly recommed it for a visit to get out of London and enjoy the English countryside.
