Gold Coast War Museum

After visiting numerous military museums in Europe I wasn't expected much from this local one but I was very surprised with the quality and variety of the collection. There was vast amounts of memorabilia from past conflicts including vehicles, aircrafts, weapons, uniforms and equipment. There was plent of WW2 era memorabilia and a great collection of australian posters which I hadn't seen before, the "Avenge our Nurses" poster was very poignant.

Plymouth

We wanted to check out some more English cities while we were still over here. Plymouth has a lot of history, its where the pilgrims left for America from and there is still a huge Navy dock. There was plenty to do, a seafood festival and live bands were on as well. Overall a great time.
