Gold Coast War Museum

After visiting numerous military museums in Europe I wasn't expected much from this local one but I was very surprised with the quality and variety of the collection. There was vast amounts of memorabilia from past conflicts including vehicles, aircrafts, weapons, uniforms and equipment. There was plent of WW2 era memorabilia and a great collection of australian posters which I hadn't seen before, the "Avenge our Nurses" poster was very poignant.

Old Actonians Fancy Dress - Armed Forces and Uniforms

It was Tim and Bills last weekend in London and lucky for them we had a big party planned. It was the girls from netball and the rugby teams joint fancy dress party. It started off very messy with some early drinking games and went from there.
