Mansions Superhero Party

After Martins BBQ we got the bus back to Acton to get changed. Our Turkish flatemate was hanging round and borrowed my toy Ak-47, he had the great idea of going onto the street pretending to shoot random people I was just waiting for him to get arrested but it didnt happen. After that we got in the Cab and the driver told us how he used to be in the Taliban and that the AK was a very good weapon etc. I went as the Punisher, Mel went as Batgirl and Fliss went as Lara Croft. We made it to the party without getting abducted. Everyone put a good effort into their costume Porno dressed up as Optimus Prime and it was easily the best outfit, other ones which were really good included Duffman, Captain Planet the tall Yoda. There were heaps of beers and cocktails, everyone seemed to be having a great night.

Birthday Weekend

We had a pretty huge weekend for my birthday, there was a Mexican theme party and a trip to the Redback on Friday and on the Saturday there was a Van Tour party and another session out the front of the Mansions.

Australia Day London - 2007

I headed to work as usual, even though none of the other Aussies at work made it in. I finished up at 3pm and headed to the Temple Walkabout only to find out it was full with a massive lineup. So after that we headed to the Red Back which had no line, we also got a free shirt on entry and £1 drinks so it was a good decision. We partied there till around 11pm then headed back to the house party at the mansions. I have never seen so many people in our flat at one time, I think I counted 30 at one stage, overall it was a great day.

Snow in London!

We were woken up by Tegan at 6am to shouts of excitement, yelling at us to look out the window. To our surprise there was at least 2 - 3 inches of snow everywhere and it was still coming down. We eventually headed outside and went into Gunnersbury Park, it was amazing. We walked around for about half an hour enjoying the picturesque views, it was a pity it was mid week and I had to head off to work. We might be lucky and get some more snow later this week but it doesn't look too promising.
