The British Museum

After the cricket final on Saturday I was keen to do something a little more cultural then drinking beer down at the local. So we decided to visit the British Museum which is one of the world's greatest museums of human history and culture. Its collections, which number more than 13 million objects from all continents, illustrate and document the story of human culture from its beginning to the present.

It was definetly the best museum I have visited so far on this trip, its massive with collections from all over the world, the Egyption section was simply amazing. View Full Album

Cricket World Cup Session

The big day was finally here, after waiting for hours due to the rain delays the match finally got under way. Gilchrist didn't disappoint and put on a fantastic display and I knew we had the game won. It was the first time I had been to the Covert Garden Walkabout, it wasn't too bad. Its a lot smaller then the Temple or the Shebu but at least the aircon was working.

Anzac Sporting Challenge

Shooter was playing in the Australian mixed touch team and Ruhle in the League side. Both sides ended up losing but it was a great excuse for a few beers in the sun. After the last game we made a visit to the Redback where it got pretty messy, Shooter had a month off drinking but made up for it that night.

Spotted TNT Magazine

Our efforts at the boat race didn't go unnoticed, we made this weeks TNT page 209.

Boat Race - Cambridge Vs Oxford

The Boat Race is a rowing race between the Oxford University Boat Club and the Cambridge University Boat Club. It is rowed annually each Spring on the Thames in London and is a great excuse to have a few beers.

We got to the Old Ship pub near Hammersmith early and were prepared with an esky and a few cartons of beer. It got pretty crazy later on in the afternoon but we did manage to get a glimpse of the actual race.

I found out the next day that Cambridge won.
